  Adsense Videos

Google has launched its newest Adsense creation. Adsense videos are click-to-play video ads which will surely revolutionize image and text advertisement as they all compete in one advertising field. Video ads promise no less than quality advertisement and higher revenue.

Adsense videos may not work in some sites, though there are some requirements that one must need to meet. Some requirements include the type of ad and format of ad. One must opt image ads and choose any of these video-supporting ad formats: square 205x250, medium rectangle 300x250, or large rectangle 336x280. The videos can run up to a maximum of two minutes.

Since video ads operate on a click-to-pay basis, the videos will only play once the user presses on the Play button. This is similar to users clicking image and text ads since every click is equivalent to profit for the publisher. However, visitors are not be charged for bandwidth use as the videos are hosted by Google. So, there's no reason to worry if the videos hampers the accessibility of website.

For a visitor's viewing pleasure, Adsense videos can be added and viewed in one's own website. When the Play button is selected, the click is not counted in the report. However, it is advised to not click the URL of the advertiser or the advertisement itself. Doing so will create an invalid click to the account. Clicking the advertisement will also increase cost of the advertiser.

Those who are conscious of content must not to worry about seeing any offensive images on these video ads. AdWords has drafted a Video Editorial Guideline which is used in screening every video ad before making them available for viewing.
